SMPS Oregon has talented committee volunteers and we want to recognize those that step up to get things done! The monthly MVP is nominated by the Board of Directors for outstanding contributions to our chapter and going above and beyond their general committee responsibilities.

This month, we’d like to give the MVP Award and a round of applause to Membership Committee member Sara Drenzek, Regional Marketing Manager  at Sazan Group.

"Sara returned to the membership committee this year and truly hit the ground running. Besides volunteering to assist with registration at events, coordination/planning, updating slides, or being a friendly face at membership events, she also volunteered to host our first members-only happy hour event in December at the Sazan offices. As co-chair, Sara is always ready and willing to support our committee and our chapter, I firmly believe she is a reason for our success."

"Sara and I worked together for many years at a previous firm and I have yet to meet another person who is as dedicated, thoughtful, and outgoing as her. Every project she works on is full of passion and personality. In 2019, Sara spearheaded an International Women’s Day event that was so memorable and impactful that I believe it has yet to be topped. She’ll be your biggest cheerleader and is always there to listen. Not only has she been a joy to work with, she’s also become an amazing friend along the way."
